About BibConverter
BibConverter is the result of lazyness and frustration. I wanted to minimize the time from finding an interesting reference online to a new entry in my BibTeX database. Most online bibliographic services offer export functionality. However, the exported data is usually incomplete and requires manual editing before it can be put in a BibTeX database. I therefore decided to bypass the whole export-import scheme and convert data directly from the web to the BibTeX format.
The conversion is done by a cgi script written in the Python programming language. For more background information about BibConverter, read my notebook entry about it.
A few words about the author
My name is Kjell Magne Fauske and I am currently a Ph.D. student at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the University Graduate Center (UniK).
